Jordan Jay Pettit

Hi my name is Jordan Jay Pettit, I am from South Africa, and I am a senior about to graduate.  I joined QSI Phuket in August 2019 and I have been studying here for about 3 years. I have really enjoyed my time studying at QSIP even though I am usually a very shy and anxious person when I am new to something. From the first day at QSIP everyone made me feel very welcome and after a month I felt more comfortable and less anxious. I really like the environment at QSIP and the way that the teachers teach; they are very engaged with the students and very patient. I have really improved over the time I went to QSIP, I started engaging more with the students and teachers, my homework planning improved, and I felt more comfortable approaching teachers asking for more help. All the teachers are very nice and helpful, and I could go to them with any questions I had about work.  

The staff in the office are very friendly and helpful and they really are good with visa applications.  

I have decided to study design in Cape Town, South Africa at either Inscape or BHC. After I graduate, I will either study a year course on all the different aspects of design techniques e.g., applied creativity, basic drawing skills, graphic design, spatial design, etc., or go straight into a three-year course on Interior Design.
