QSI Phuket History

In August 2000, Quality Schools International (QSI) was invited to assume ownership of the Phuket International Nursery School (PINS) which formerly occupied the same facility. QSI Phuket was the first preschool through grade 12 international school in Phuket. The school offeres high-quality education in the English language and had grown to 120 students before the COVID pandemic. Current enrollment is approximately 65 students and rebounding. 

The campus is a short distance from four major shopping centers on the island, but is located away from traffic, noise, and congestion. Many students call it "The school in the jungle." Since 2000 the school has made several upgrades to its facilities. QSIP has 15 classrooms, a library, computer laboratory, art and music room, indoor activity center, and a quality kitchen and cafeteria. The site also includes a basketball court, a state-of-the-art artificial grass sports field, an elementary playing field, a running track, a cushioned elementary play area with various equipment for students, an office complex, and parking spaces. Air conditioning is in all classrooms, the library, and the computer laboratory. In addition, the school has upgraded its technology for a more interactive classroom experience, with older students encouraged to bring their personal computing devices for guided use in classrooms.
